Honestly why even bother designing a new character if they were only going to use him for 20 seconds, it's mind-boggling that they put in extra effort just to *not* use Brigette instead of slapping a few PNG images of her into the tutorial and calling it a day.

Remember when they advertised Bank as a permanent solution to pokemon storage and was meant to be carried over across all systems going forward, only for it to be immediately replaced as soon as a new console came out, and it remains to be seen how they will handle it when a new console replaces the Switch?

Luckily, Pokemon Home having a Phone version means it's future-proofed.
They could've done it with Bank, but they clearly wanted a newer system with stupider payment system.
Hopefully Gamefreak is at least competent to not fuck up by making ANOTHER one and keeps Home Permanent.
