What the fuck is GameFreak's problem these days? How are these guys so fucking incompetent? They can't even fucking manage their own game without choking on air. All these fucking months for HOME support when PKHex has had drag and drop support since day 1

Pokemon is a dead children's franchise. It's like hello kitty at this point. People just buy it to shut their kids up. The games are an afterthought toys and merchandise are all first and foremost. I would imagine it's not a question of competence, but the staggered release of features like this is intentional. Something like maintaining long term interest in the game and the Home service. It's absence has certainly kept enough people frothing about it for half a year.

They have barely any budget
They have fucking rushed developments(Arceus on the same year, 3 years after SwSh which also got some DLC in 2020(2 year dev time for S/V))
They don't have very good coders

Not defending them, but in reality they have fucking horrid time. Making an open world Pokemon game in 2-3 years ain't the easiest, especially for something like Switch. Pokemon company wants their regular new gens etc. so it really sucks to be a dev at GF. They simply need longer dev times. BotW and TotK had a bit longer dev times for example
