They need to stop sticking with each gen lasting 3 years, it's so ridiculous that SV were probably made in the same amount of time as say BW. The games keep getting bigge trying for open world, yet still staying in the same time frame as when the games were still 2D.

I do not care about people's opinions. The facts are that these two new Zelda games are so far removed from old Zelda games, that they have nothing in common with them. The gameplay, the atmosphere, all of it, is so different, that they aren't even Zelda games anymore, they're just generic open world garbage where people see what whacky stuff they can do with the engine. When DP took 4 years to come out instead of the usual 3 we started getting Gen 4 Mon invading a ton of Gen 3 media. From the Mime Jr, Bonsly and Weavile cameos in Movie 8/Buizel, Chatot and Mantyke cameos in Movie 9 to Munchlax appearances in a ton of spinoffs (Dash, Gale of Darkness, PMD), Bonsly usable in Gale of Darknessn in a very limited fashion, there were probably one or two TCG cards made during that period and the fact that there's only so many of them and there's limited info would incentivise hunting them down in the games or merch they're in. They wouldn't actually lose out all that much, hell, play it right and they could actually drive hype and anticipation way the fuck up. I remember doggedly watching the Pokemon.com site for updates back when I was a kid for more info on the Gen 4 Mon who's English names hadn't even been revealed yet, it was peak hype season.

I literally got a wind power, used said wind power to get to the wind temple, flew around the wind temple using the funny wind power to activate a bunch of things that required the wind power. At the end there was a boss that utilized the wind power mechanics to defeat, and I got a heart container and learned Zelda was the descendant of the Time Sage or some shit.
That was the most Zelda fucking experience I've had in 20 years.

Nintendo could have created a BotW sequel twice the size of Elden Ring since they already had BotW as a base to work off of, but instead decided to spend almost a decade fucking around with their whacky gmod physics engine so you can glue geometry pieces to each other.

You can always beat everything with what you found at the moment unless you suck. Sneak them at night and steal their shit, you can even do that at day with a bomb. Theres literally Zero reason to grind weapons.

Secondly, this is also why multiple different groups working on different things are very important, there's a reason TPC exists in the first place. You don't really seem to understand much of anything. They could easily be making way more money, although depending on how they do it it could be incredibly short term. If you want some examples of a lot of this sort of thing, looking at the history of the Transformers franchise might be a good idea, it's relatively easy to understand the directions they took it and the ways Hasbro has historically been and is currently doing really well and also burning good will on dumb shit.
