>>53846593The point of importing Pokemon from previous games is to keep your prized bros with you forever. Yeah some of the old games forced you to import from previous gens/games to complete the pokedex, which was silly. But the main purpose of importing from previous games now is, as it should be, to bring the Pokemon you're attached to with you to the next game. However the dexcut destroys this because I'll try to import a team of 6 from a previous game playthrough and oops 1 or 2 of those Pokemon aren't allowed. It's heart breaking not being able to keep my teams together. It's 2-3 sitting locked on Home waiting for SV to maybe let them in and the others sitting in a box on SwSh wondering if they'll ever see their friends again. It's the opposite of family friendly; it's like prisoner camps demoralizing you by breaking up your squad so you can't plan an escape together.
