What would peoples thoughts on a ROM hack that made every Pokémon shit be like? It can also be a satirical mockery of how Game Freak handles balancing or the games in general.

I'm talking about shit like:
- every Pokémon is Rock/Ice
- every Pokémon has Typhlosion's movepool
- every Pokémon's ability is now only Leaf Guard
- every Pokémon has Unown's stats (or the stats can be a combination of bad stats taken from various shitmons like Sunflora's 30 Speed and Stonjourner's 20 Special Defense)
- there's an NPC that can give your Pokémon a +10 to Special Defense (can be done once per Pokémon)
- there's a gimmick that makes Pokémon stronger (that only certain™ specimens of Pokémon can use)

I can see it like this. Every attack move does 2 points of damage, no matter what it is, and criticals only do 4 damage. Effective moves only do 3 points of damage, and effective criticals only do 6 points of damage. Non-effective moves always do 1 point of damage with a critical being 2 points. All attacks have 10% accuracy. The purest of shit.

Take that down to 9%. Down to 1% would be overkill. It's evil for the sake of being evil. But 9%? You make it hurt that much more.
Aesthetically, it looks terrible. It's not an even number. You're down to single digits now. Every other move in Pokémon has an accuracy that's divisible by five and ten, but now you're irreversibly fucking with the natural order.
And the beautiful thing about it, you'd never notice the difference between 10% and 9% just by playing the game. One or two extra wasted PP every hundred turns or so? Something you can just as easily chalk up to random chance?
It's only when you actually look at the number that it starts to sting.
Well, that, and missing 91% of your attacks.

If you make everything shit, it's basically the same as making everything good because you're just leveling the playing field.

If you're looking to make only your Pokemon shitty, look into Trashlocke hacks like Garbage Green. While they're designed to be nuzlocked, they have some decent ideas for normal play:
>some of your Pokemon just can't evolve
>certain moves have reduced base power/PP or are locked from you altogether
>EVs are removed

A game where the only Pokémon you can catch are Caterpie, Weedle, Wurmple, Kricketot, Burmy, Combee, Scatterbug, and Blipbug. None of them can evolve. Glitches are more prevalent and game breaking than SV. It's a Pokémon game full of bugs.

Any time you're gunning to make the shittiest Pokemon game possible, HMs need to be involved. RNG needs to be involved

Like the 7th fucking Gym leader outright refuses to give you a badge if you don't have Cut from earlier in the game on one of your Pokemon, and you have to fight them again too just to get the option back. Or you're required to remove an HM from your Pokemon in order to progress the game, only for the game to ask for it again immediately after.

Counter and Mirror Coat have priority and always hit first. It predicts the damage from the opponent's attack before it hits and just doubles what it would be. Fuck you.

Recoil damage is increased by 200% across the game
Substitute cuts 90% of your hp
Protect can be spammed until empty

RNG needs to be cranked up to 11:
>Secondary status effects on every move, with every status cure in the game removed
>Pokemon center demands actual money to heal your party
>the prices can inflate too
>Potions have a chance to inflict poison with every use
>Berries are bullshit
>Full Restore has a chance to heal the opponent's Pokemon instead
>Max Revive has a chance to just faint one random Pokemon in your party who didn't take it. Fuck you.
>Trainers will attempt to catch your Pokemon in the middle of a battle
>they can succeed

I think there are some garbage romhacks that make everything you can access into a shitmon, while major trainers and the like retain regular Pokemon.
While not all shitmons will be created equal, due to the lower powerlevel, the differences will be much smaller, putting more emphasis on building solid teams rather than just picking the strongest of them all, because no matter what, you're at a disadvantage.
