>>53851625>It's a theory based on in-game information.it's emotional conjecture based solely on people's desire for the game's lore to be more than it actually is because, just like the rest of the game, it had potential that was ultimately squandered.
>Believing that it's just simple time travel despite the game showing clear hints otherwise is also "fanfiction"It doesn't, though. You misinterpret them as supporting your theory when in fact they either prove the established time travel story or are saying something else entirely.
The entirety of imagination theory is fanfiction driven by the same feeling that drives children to overanalyze FNAF: because people feel clever when they solve puzzles and when they're met with something that resembles a puzzle even though it actually isn't, they obssess over it and do everything to try and find the "pieces" to the point where they see things that aren't there.
it would be fantastic if the least shit SV's plots had this awesome hidden depth that people had to dig through the game to iuncover and slowly fit puzzle pieces together. But it doesn't. Game Freak don't give enough of a fuck nor are they talented enough to pull off something like that. When every other aspect of the game was rushed garbage, why would they choose this one specific aspect to take their time polishing? It's time to accept it.
>>53851628>The machine is a show of lights, the only relevant bit is the fact it reads what is in the book and that is powered by the crystalsThen why make it? Game Freak might be retarded developers, but the writing this time around was actually just mediocre instead of plain shit. And even a mediocre writer knows about Chekov's gun.
