>>53853112The real answer as to why HOME is getting delayed is because they realized Tears of the Kingdom currently completely mogs Pokemon in cultural relevancy due to being the most anticipated game on Switch ever since "BotW2" was announced. So they're waiting until the hype phase dies down before they do anything Pokemon-related as to ensure the kiddies and normalfags are focusing on Pikachu again.
Essentially this also means they get to sit on their asses and delay HOME until summer, or god forbid, delay it all the way until the Indigo Disk DLC launch in winter so they don't have to update once or twice yet again to include the new Pokemon that'll feature in the two DLC campaigns.
FURTHERMORE, since their Raid Scheduling's been totally fucked up, by delaying the HOME update, they can compensate and exploit Hisuian Forms/Evolutions to create "engaging" filler raids by offering Pokemon that otherwise cannot yet be legally obtained in SV.
