Shiny Hunting itself is easy but im having such a hard time finding a shiny pawmi/pawmo, it also took a long time to find a shiny steenee, i had to force an outbreak and pop a shiny sandwich to find one.

The easiest to go for are ones on the edges of towns so you can go in and out of loading zones to force despawn/respawn the mons.
Try to use a sandwich that doesn't have much type overlap in the area - if all the Pokemon in the area are Normal and you're going after a Normal/Flying, use the Flying type sandwich etc

Did they do something to the shiny odds? I met more random shinies in the Pladean wild than in any other game. I think only one of them spawned during an outbreak. Didn't use sandwiches or shiny charm or anything else.

Nope. That's just the magic of not having to initiate an encounter to actually find a shiny because many dice rolls are thrown in your spawn radius

Makes sense. At first I wanted to retardedly counter that I only found a single shiny in LGPE which has the overworld shiny mechanic too, but then it dawned on me that it's a much shorter game with smaller areas which don't spawn nearly as many pokemon at once.
