Gen 5 was a soulless rehash of gen 1, right down the the dex being chinese bootlegs of gen 1 mons through and through, gen 6 was literally the same shit and some how even worse, gen 7 was a half-assed attempt to "mix up" a formula they perfected with HGSS, and everything after has been much the same.
Pokemon has no SOUL or HEART because it was all used to make the pinnacle of the franchise, HGSS.
