The original design was pure early 2000s fashion which was big at the time, exposed midriff with jeans and a fancy belt was all the rage. Sort of edgy, but simple and undeniably cool.
But the new design is neat too as it incorporates more elements that infer who she is as a character. For instance, she has more red in her color palette, implying she's a master of fire, and instead of wearing an actual belt, it's a towel which is clever since she runs a bathhouse.
