They were never going to give the ASD as much help anyway because unlike dyslexia, ASD doesn't (directly) interfere with their precious learning standards/goals, plus it's far easier to "measure progress" with so they can feel better about themselves.

18, but I first suspected I was autistic when I was 14. My boomer parents didn't believe me because I don't "act retarded", so I couldn't get formally diagnosed until I became an adult. Even now, they think I got scammed by the "psychology industry".
