It's the event Pokeball Vivillon in particular. That's the only Vivillon pattern that can't be obtained normally in SV I guess. Carbink is probably only there because Diancie is there and Diancie is only there because Diancie is a mythical. Though interestingly some Mythicals like Deoxys and Marshadow seem to be missing. And why do the Johto legendary beasts always get the short end of the stick?

Considering most of Game Freak doesn’t actively hate Johto anymore and the Gen 5,6,7 box legends aren’t there either it just seemed like they drew straws (with Gen 1 being garanteed a spot because KANTOOOOO privilege, and Gen 4 being guaranteed a spot because of Legends)

I'm expecting for them to come in dlc 2, alongside Paradox mons based on Raikou and Entei. Same with the Swords of Justice and Paradox forms for Coba and Terra. Probably not one for Keldeo though.

Diancie's in Sword/Shield, but never got a distribution. You needed to transfer it from Bank to Home.
Volcanion was one of the last distributions before Gen 9 released.
Magearna is the only old mythical that was added in an update, probably because it became Home's dex completion reward.
Arceus wasn't in Sword/Shield, but had PLA/BDSP. Same for the rest of the Sinnoh ones, but they got cut again anyway. Manaphy's the only Pokemon who got a new signature move in PLA and still couldn't make it to Gen 9.
Hoopa and Meloetta were missing entirely. This will be the first time you can bring them to a Switch game.
