However, its less about H.Tyhlosion being bad (because it does have things to set it about ,119 SpA with ERuption hits hard even without Sun, Fire/Ghost STAB is nice, and despite Frisk only existing as a joke ability for game freak to point and laugh at the shitmons they saddled with it, It seems to let H.Typhlosion work as a anti-lead in singles) and more about OU being an exclusive club for minimaxed broken bullshit like FOTM shillmons, Game Freak's favoite children and CHARIZARD forms.
I've messed around with it on the lower ladder with Choice Specs (wanted to try a calm mind but its the immediate power of Specs due to how hard hitting and fast OU is now) and it pulls its weight most of the time, but its definably dropping. It especially hates Garg, Gambit, and Heatran. .
However, I could see it and even the original, having some success in VGC. (Hisui hits harder, has ghost STAB and fake out immunity, while OG is faster, and has Flash Fire to counter spread fire moves or even get a boost from an ally).
