It really isn't that dangerous.
Slow and relying on Rest for recovery means that its a lot less durable than you'd think.
Basically, it is taking the role of Crawdaunt. A slow hard hitting wallbreaker that becomes the best option to use in lack of any better attackers due to a large number of bans.

Being weak to Fighting hurts it a lot.

There's too many ghosts running around right now for fighting to be as spammable like that. Pair with random ghost, fairy or flying terras everywhere too.
Ursaluna is at least taking 1-2 mons down with it, it's just down to who you sack

It definitely can push Trickroom teams to become viable in OU but it wouldn't be the only reason. Hatterene has been in OU for a bit and it's a great setter, Magearna is good on TR (probably not staying long though), and there are other slow offensive Pokemon in OU like Kingambit and Azumarill.

trickroom can't be "viable" in OU by virtue of not having a setting ability or an extender, the same goes for tailwind
