If... If any of your pre-Gen 8 mons ever touched PLA it'll get the smallest size possible automatically and you can't do anything about it

I like ribbons/marks, but I still would’ve preferred my Pokemon not being so small. It made the Home release pretty disappointing since at least in PLA they were still slightly bigger. The worst part is they fixed it, but not for anyone that went to PLA prior to this update.

That's my case here. Pretty disappointing they didn't reroll values. To be honest, scales in SV are so drastic. Of course I do want a Wailord bigger than a Caterpie, but they could've made the differences less drastic. In PLA I wouldn't feel much the size difference, but in SV... I couldn't barely look at my Honchkrow lol

If you're up to, wait bots and PkHex updates. Send all compatible mons to PLA, clone it, edit on PkHex and set it back. Older mons can have any size from now on, it should be legal and transfered to SV.

The female PLA protagonist is 140 cm despite being 15. For comparison, HGSS Lyra is 152 cm at 11.
Rather doubt the SV protagonist is shorter than the PLA/DPPt protagonist.

What we know:

What we don’t know as far as I know:
>Can Bank transfers be edited in SV safe files?

Which depends on:
Either
>They got their size randomly attributed to them after transferring
or
>They got their size randomly attributed to them with the Update or with transferring

If the last option is the case, Home already tracked their new values and changing them will flag your Pokémon once transferred back to Home. Only thing we could do then is to transfer copies if available from Bank again and hope to get lucky.

My LG Shiny Gengar and other bros are affected by this. I already asked this in the first and second Home thread. People just respond with „iF tHeY wErE iN pLa ThEy GoT aLl 0s“. Yes I know that.

I want to edit don’t forget that if you delete the Home tracker of a Pre Gen 8 in SV it makes it an illegal encounter since there is no way you have a Pre Gen 9 Pokémon in Gen 9 without a tracker.
GF blockchained our Pokémon and now we’re stuck with manlet Garchomps.

I have one save file prepared in case changing size of Bank transfers in SV is no problem but I don’t know what happens. Maybe they will get flagged. Maybe no, I guess we have to wait for confirmation or someone tries. I want to keep my Home clean though.

Anon both the regular and the dev build don't have full 3.0.0 support yet though if you manually build the home3 branch on git you can test it out and help them get it stable i guess.
No pokemon you transfer in is gonna be read as legal, Home trackers wont matter once it supports fully anyway.
I have never used trackers and got flagged as illegal (pkhex standards) i can also change my height and weight on the fly if wanted from gen 8.
The thing will be if Pkhex copies the system when it detects a Pokemon that's never been in home, I don't see why it wouldn't?
Only then will i know if size change edits make them fully illegal (pkhex standards)
TL:DR You jumping ahead abit to much wait for a full release

If Height are tied within Home Tracker we're doomed. If not the best option will be sending it to PLA and changing to average rather than tiny.

If is tied to tracker, preGen 8 mons might be transferred from Bank copies hence deleting home tracker would flag them. LGPE mons might be from LGPE copies.

Wait... I'm getting a little confused... If I transfer, let's say, my gen4 Gliscor to legends it's going to permanently be a tiny Gliscor? But what if I transfer it first to the gen4 remakes (or any other Mon to SWSH)? It gets a size value there?

Is this only applied to mons that come from pre switch games? If I transfer a Gliscor from the remakes then it would not have it's size altered in legends, but if it's one from the originals it would?

So no pre gen8 mon can go into PLA before any of the other switch games, or just SV?

Then that means there's a sure way to get mini mons that get the mark on SV.
