When SV came out I swear I remember people saying Flame Body affect egg hatching anymore, but I can't find anything about it now. Did it get changed in a patch?

Also I've been breeding more now that I have my Ditto slut army, is there an optimal place to hatch eggs? Like a long straight path with low lag and no wild Pokemon?
