>>53910024DPP fire type is a real fucking problem, I even noticed it as a child. I think you only realistically have 2 options, starter and ponyta, and that's it. When I played it a second time I vaguely remembered that and made sure to catch a ponyta asap and then saw that my memory was correct, without that mon later battles would've been a gigantic pain in the ass.
aside for that, I never noticed that problem in any other pokemon games.
