>>53908859You can only use 5th generation Pokemon during the main campaign, which made everyone bitch and moan back in the day, but everyone agrees now that it's a nice change of pace. Unlike in previous games, almost every new Pokemon is viable in their own right, so there isn't as much useless shit like Nosepass or Spinda laying around anymore. Graphically, the game is incredibly charming. The move animations are very snappy and dynamic, making the battles feel so much more hard-hitting than in previous games. There are a lot of quality of life changes too, such ass TM's being infinite use. Although they follow the same basic structure as the first 4 gens, they put an emphasis on story and characters rather than exploration. All in all very solid games
