>>53910863If this is about Red, his team is so awfully built you can easily curbstomp him with a 15~ish level difference. And the game that buffed him made his team worse so that doesn't work for HGSS either.
Sounds like you're just shit.
>>53913466Pokemon is balanced around you being able to cleanly beat it without much difficulty. Meme rules that people act like is the intent despite how clunky they are do not erase this. Sword is fundamentally curved to be below any realistic team the player has.
This is the case for basically every gen, the reason why children(or equivelent) manage to fuck up still exist by the supposed "tipping point". You can find footage of people flailing around for swords endgame while using inbattle max revives.
Even with autism rules most games are still really easy as well. The shift that people keep on pushing is an illusion. It is making it easier but thats because the intent is to be piss easy from the start, making something easy easier is irrelevant.
The rules that people bring up isn't some Kirby shit where there's actual design in plain sight telling you "hey, if you want a more tight and hard game; get rid of the abilities bitch". Its going through hoops to achive not much.
Putting a bunch of rules in place that result in a still piss easy game so you can feel better about yourself; the amount of rules you need in place to make pokemon even slightly hard is inherently slamming another game into it at that point.
