I don't see why people went apeshit over this. It's just Fly with an added step. It's not like there's tons of places you can only access through this, you just use it for wormholes and occasionally you'll get attacked by birds.

The characters are at a different size scale than the original sprites, so they adjusted the world size in consequence, I think that's what you're feeling.
