There are other ways you can make money. You can sell items. Lucky eggs go for quite a bit and I'm sure all the power up items do (blackglasses etc) which can be Thieved off of wild pokemon or catch them. There's a ton of methods to get money if you need to, shit, it's an MMO, it's basically what you're supposed to do.
If you want everything handed to you like in a normal pokemon game, you're not doing it right. Or well actually I'm not sure what you're not doing right because the only part that any of this should give you any difficulty at all is the elite 4 and that's only because of the level checks. Even that is piss easy because it heals your pokemon after each fight.
Anyway, all of this has made me want to play Pokemmo again.
