I don't understand how anyone can like these games. For all the features that get cut, how did they cut all postgame battle facilities? Battling is literally the main gameplay. Sure, it was bad we hadn't gotten a battle frontier since gen 4, but not even a type of battle tower/subway/mansion clone????
What are you even supposed to do in the postgame now, the only battling option is battling online. I know it's popular to hate everything new, but this might unironically be the worst mainline launch ever.
The first time since 1999 with Gold and Silver that a mainline game launched without any kind of battle facility (excluding Let's Go). They genuinely went back 24 years in terms of battle content.
