>>53937647It was a lot harder for games to be spoiled back then. It was surprising, but unfortunately it set the standards for what 'post-game' content should be, or at the very least, could be. Haven't had that same excitement since learning that Black2 White2 weren't going to be the Emerald/Platinum treatment.
After B2W2, never was really surprised by Pokemon. Sadly, more disappointments then surprises.
Pokemon XY were so clearly unfinished, that I would have bet money at the time that there's no way they weren't going to have a Z version. ...I would have lost that bet.
