although for all the flaws of swsh the gym music in that game is also rly good. the atmosphere of the gym battles is something i dont think we'll ever quite have again

The Johto Gym Leader theme is still the best because it actually feels intimidating without sounding too "evil". It even fits the Elite Four surprisingly well, where the Kanto and Sinnoh themes are just too fun.
