Also i have never seen a pokefan defend anything pokemon related for the last decade at the very least, witch the exception of retarded poketubers who think shilling pokemon for free will give them work.
On the other hand, zeldatrannies can only shill this damn DLC like crazy, to think we would come to the point where the poke fanbase would become the more objective out of all the shit that comes out of Nintroondo.

Pokemon has no one to blame but itself for its predicament.
It literally can't stop making new games or else the franchise comes to a screeching halt, being unable to market and sell toys of the newest critters and coombait merch of the newest waifus and fujobaits, and then the fiscal year plummets to a hilariously extreme degree in terms of profits.
The only way they could remedy this is if they actually allowed spinoff games that aren't on mobile to exist again and permit those spinoffs to debut a handful of new Pokemon (that'd later be added to the current core game via content update), but that only happens when GameFreak themselves is personally interested in a project since TPC only wants to pursue the money, and the money is with mobile games.

Absolutely zero reason to think that ER would have hurt TotK's sales in any way, Fromsoft games are not as popular or big as you retards think especially next to the absolute explosion of popularity BotW was for Zelda, and even with ER being a multiplatform it almost assuredly will sell less than ToTK for lifetime sales. I wouldn't be surprised if TotK has already beaten it.
No, they took the time because they wanted to make a good game, just like ER itself took time to make sure it was a good game and its DLC is taking time to make a good game, and Pokemon will never take the time because these games are like Madden or FIFA, the point is not to bother making a good game anymore

Both games sold 10m copies instantly. Makes sense for totk to wait until the elden ring craze died down a bit before releasing their game and starting their own craze. The fanbases definitely have overlap
