>>53942134Honestly, not really, if you take a step back and look at what's actually been banned.
There's 52 Pokemon in Ubers right now.
18 of them are just Arceus forms. Another 18 are other box legendaries (+Mewtwo and Calyrex which can pretty reasonably be considered equivalent). So that's 36 that would've been Uber by default anyway.
And Magearna and Palafin are counted as having 2 forms, so that's another 2 removed. And Magearna, Urshifu-S, Spectrier, and Lando-I were already banned last gen.
So that's really only 10 Pokemon that are banned that wouldn't be a given.
Then of those 10:
Palafin has a BST of 650 with barely any downside in 6v6 singles.
Flutter Mane, Iron Bundle, and Chien Pao are all overtuned fast attackers.
And Chi Yu has a higher functional SpAtk than Mega Mewtwo Y. Before Specs.
Of the 5 remaining after that:
Regieleki and Urshifu-R are honestly pretty reasonable.
Regieleki was only balanced last gen because it had no coverage, and Tera gives it boltbeam coverage, some of the best in the game.
And Urshifu-R's damage after a Tera is frankly insane. Note that this is a mon that can break through Protect and is decently fast. Punching Glove even gives it another small power boost on top of eliminating its crippling weakness to contact effects.
Annihilape, Espathra, and Volcarona, I frankly just don't agree with banning. Annihilape and Espathra are only overpowered if you play like shit, and I have no idea what kind of clown logic made them think banning Volc was a good idea, and the community seems to agree with me.
That's only really 3 unreasonable bans out of 52.
