As much as I'd love this to be true, especially since HGSS were the second games in the series I played, GF is never touching Johto with a 6 foot pole.

Yeah, I don't think we'll ever get reremakes of any region except Kanto. Kanto only got Let's Go because GO, GF loves Kanto since it's where everything started, and gen 7 was dedicated to the franchise's 20th anniversary.
