Gonna have to disagree with that. To add on to the first anon's post, Nemona is the best rival the series has had in 10 years and the starters are way better. I'll give SWSH the mark for better box legendaries

Nemona is pretty different from Hau and Hop in that the latter started out on their own journeys at the same time as you whereas she's already a champion that's just building up a new team for fun. I think she's completely unremarkable though and think Gladion and Klara/Avery were more entertaining as far as the "rival" role goes

She's not a good character by any means, but she still has strong characterization relative to all the lifeless uncharismatic husks filling in the rival archetype since XY. Bede had potential but GF gave him a gay conversion therapy arc for some retarded reason.

She’s not any different, the game wants you to feel bad for her because she is a battle autist with no friends. Gameplay wise she’s another failure…at least Hau and Hop were a challenge at some point, but Nemona just keeps her shitmons the entire game and nothing changes.
