I'm not a huge starter person desu
The only trio where I genuinely love every member is Hoenn's, it's hard to choose- every time I play- which one to go with
Meanwhile with gens 8 and 9 I hate them all so much
Gen 7 and Hisui at least have Decidueye so I can choose one without much thought, but every other member of those trios is garbage
Every other gen is either mediocre or just kinda good

Here, let me set up a system:
>highest rank: +2 points>second-highest: +1 points>second-lowest: -1 point>lowest: -2 points>any other rank: +0 pointsIt's sort of hard since everyone is doing things differently, but using that system we get:
>RGB: 25>GSC: 8>RSE: 20>DPPT: 19>BW: 5>XY: -6>SM: -12>SWSH: -35>PLA: 1>SV: -29not counting LGPE because Pikachu and Eevee weren't originally intended to be starters and aren't a trio, which also means the one dude who put them at the very bottom because of that will only have F and FFF count for his second-lowest and lowest respectively (and the guy who dedicated a whole D rank to LGPE)
as such, they show up pretty inconsistently and shouldn't really be a part of the conversation anyways
for the two people who forgot to rank SV, I just put 0
I also included my rankings, for transparency.
I found it pretty interesting how GSC of all trios was so poorly ranked
I guess a lot of people just found it really mediocre so it didn't get many points, whereas it seems like almost every other starter left a larger impression
No surprises otherwise though lol
