Basically what was supposed to be Arceus at home ended up sub par at everything. This is because Arceus’s gimmick of being good at everything only works when you have the highest BST in the damn game and not something with stats comparable to a starter.

I like its design a lot, but like others have said, it’s really lacking in the stat department, meaning in competitive it’s a complete failure, and you get it way too late in the story mode for it to be a common, fun companion for the main game. That being said, I traded one to myself anyways and had a blast with him in Moon

How do we fix this? Silvalley now works like wishiwashi. No evolution. It starts out as having the mask with the ability sealed armor (attacks by or targeting this pokemon can’t crit and have their secondary effects negated). At this stage it has 95 in everything. When you equip it with a memory (including the new normal memory) while it’s at high friendship it gains 10 in every base stat (105 in all) and changes it’s ability to Slayer (super effective moves have their base power increased by 25%). Additionally the move return (assume gayfreak didn’t remove it and just made it exclusive to him) changes type to match what memory you equipped. There. Now he’s a gimmick mon that doesn’t mind giving up his item slot he actually gets mileage out of it, it’s a awesome tax. Like Zacian crowned but less stupid. Roughly +60 BST that’s makes it decent at everything and a boost to super effective coverage moves (on a Pokémon that gets bolt beam) is pretty good even if it’s in exchange for a item slot. Broken? IDK. But someone might use it now

Uh, I didn’t. If anything it has a better ability and speed so sealed silvalley is better than type null with the exception of eveolite. Don’t get me wrong eveolite type null is good but it could be the best Pokémon in the game and I’d still feel bad not evolving him.

Change Memories to be used from the bag to change it's type instead of being held items.
Silvally has a pretty good movepool already even if it lacks reliable recovery. Being able to just slap an item on it as a bandaid would probably make it at least good enough for NU.

It'd be cool if RKS system was changed to be pre-nerf Protean. It also needs recover, eq, and E-speed.
Fucked up that Tera is literally Silvally's gimmick but way better, even more fucked up that they actually buffed Multi Attack in Gen 8 but left his shitty stats and ability alone, he's like 80% of the way there to being good.

The problem is that its that brat's signature Pokémon and it can't have any Legendary BST since it would lead to a difficulty spike. I think the only solution is to have you fight him post game with said BST, then you can obtain the Type:Null yourself.

That’s fair actually. Maybe he only had a memory in post game and type null stays a pre-evolution or something. Ideally though I would want to find a way to disincentivize leaving him unevolved for eveolite abuse. Maybe the design just changes when friendship increases and enables the option to use memories or something.

Redesign it to look way more unique, or in other words, give it its own design. Too many Pokémon nowadays just feel like uninspired copies of things that came before, and gen 7 was when this shit got really bad. They started doing regional variants of Pokémon that already exist for fuck sake!

There is a very easy way to fix this, give him a Silvally with smaller stats for a part of the game, instead of fucking over pokemon forever because of trainers in a game using certain mons just give those trainers weaker versions of the mons

First i would change its stats.101-137-97-53 -89-113 would make its stats prime numbers,like the UBs.Second,i would make RKS system revert stat boosts from Beast Boost.Finally,i would make an item called Memory Slots,which would allow you to combine two memories,to give Silvally any dual type combo.
