Only Game Freak could fuck up by creating super special gimmick forms that were almost exclusively worse than the standard gimmick form in battle. I personally wouldn’t mind a reworked max returning (assuming only gmaxes were capable of achieving the form), but the entire concept was poorly executed on top of being kind of stupid to begin with. Way too powerful, as well.
