Yeah absolutely . I highly recommend replaying an old Gen the days after an acid trip when everything still seems "hyperrealistic". DId that recently (Pokemon Crystal + Blue) being outside the whole day and it was a happiness and nostalgia overload, like I was 8 again.

Same here. When I played Pokemon Red for the first time I had got stuck in the room and couldn't figure out what to do then I gave up and after several days I tried it again and noticed that doormat was the way out of the room lol

My first game was soul silver and I just used feraligatr and no other pokemon, i didnt even know i could open the pc to get the other pokemon, i found out about the pc when i got black and white :'(

You guys were some dumb kids. I was also a dumb kid. When Blue version came out I was 6 years old and went through the entire first cave in the game in the dark because I didn't know you had to use Flash. I almost gave up on the game but I made it through.

I was a little ass kid, like 3 or 4, and my step brother at the time was watching the anime, and I saw the cute little yellow rat, and started watching it with him and getting into the games too. When my cousin gave me a spare copy of Crystal and a Gameboy Color, I was hooked for life.

I remember the first time I encountered Suicune in Fire Red, before HGSS came out, before I knew Gen 2 existed. I lost my fucking mind, seriously, had to tell my mom about it. Damn good memory.

I don't really since I was probably 3 or 4 years old when I first played pokemon, was a hand me down
I mostly just remember being a happy little retard skipping every trainer then resetting when I fell too far behind in levels to do it again. I'd pick squirtle every time because my brother told me it was the strongest
