>>53994739Considering the breakneck pace of the games overturning established release patterns, I wouldn't be surprised if they ceased the tradition of creating remakes; especially because Gen 5 was a soft reset of the series with the first actual sequels for a "third" instalment and thus would be the best place to end said tradition of remakes if they ever wanted to. They might just give it a Pokemon Legends [Kyurem/Original Dragon] instalment, which in concept works great for Unova because it has expansive lore and worldbuilding like Sinnoh. If the TPC executives aren't completely out of touch, they might skip another BDSP to avoid vicious backlash from older fans, and current GF is too lazy to create a BW3 anyway. A second sequel isn't even necessary to complete Unova when a competent Legends could do that just fine.
