Gen 3 can't be worst 2D when absolutely retarded slogs like Diamond and Pearl exist. Everything you could praise Gen4 for is attributed to Platinum and HGSS.

I mean personally I don’t think any Pokémon games are full on “bad” because they stick to the formula so hard it’s difficult to produce a game that’s worse than mediocre, but I just don’t understand the Hoenn love. It has great music and a strong early game but it falls apart story and location wise as you get later on in and its Pokédex is a few islands of amazing quality surrounded by a sea of slow frail mixed shit.

To be fair, a lot of Hoenn's shitmons by volume are just recolors of the same Pokemon and would be altforms in modern gens. Still doesn't excuse so many of them being so bad though

Face it Hoennbabs, your region is dreadfully mediocre and carried neary solely by its nostalgia value. It had less of an impact in the public eye and in the franchise than any other Generation not named 5 or 6. The sales don’t lie.
