why are paradox mons so shit compared to cross gen evos from gen 2 and 4?
paradox mons were a huge mistake

Because they’re not cross-gen evos, they’re just “what if (specific Pokémon) but with a different coat of paint.” Obviously that could describe certain evolutions too but definitely not most cross-gen ones. They’re not really comparable.
