I remember trying to catch zapdos as a kid with like 90 ultra balls and he had like 1 hp and asleep and none of them caught him and I fucking didn't end up catching him somehow, I guess I said fuck it and saved after killing him.

Seems like every gen he gets a combination of a new toy (Volt Switch, Static, Hurricane) and a new threat that he checks perfectly or really well (Kartana, Melmetal, Rillaboom, Tusk, Tera Dragonite, Kingambit to an extent, physical Valiant sets, etc).

It's literally just doing what it did last gen (Slow Regenerator Pivot that pressures with Future Sight) but with Chilly Reception rather than Teleport
