>>54038843>>54038846>>54038862I disagree about the game being ugly, maybe theres a consensus that theres a problem with models but I really don't mind them at all. The thing is, I really wish I could've played these games in their heyday. Older games, like gen 3 and below are dated enough to where you still relatively get the full experience even playing them today, but modern games are very obviously designed to be multiplayer in nature. The excitement of a new games, coupled with fantastic marketing, new types, mons, formes, metas, with a blossoming community that you could find anywhere, along with tons of in game events, mythical and special mon handouts, it was all so THRIVING. I did get to cash in on the excitement of USUM (finally got a replacement 3ds by then) and it was so much fun talking about events, participating in vgcs, (just kidding i never made it past preliminaries lol still tons of fun) getting excited over the new mons, UBs, formes, eveb Rainbow Rocket was super cool. I especially remember the hype over ash greninja and cap pikachu (i picked the hoenn one which i still have to this day lol!) But thats why its been hard for me to really get back into Pokemon, cause the dream of pokemon is fully realized when youre with OTHERS, battling, talking, trading, getting hyped over shinies. Just talking about it now brings all those feelings rushing back to me. The new console gens just arent the same man, they feel so stale! hopefully one day pokemon can really make a comeback instead of being carried by card packs and ill always hold out hope for that day. I just really miss the handheld days bros...*sniffle*
I love POKéMON.
