Genuinely, how do you play this fucking game? I've done 2 playthroughs now. The first time, I mowed half the game over because I was jumping all over the place "FoRgInG mY oWn PaTh"

The second, I tried sticking to a strict rule of matching level caps and not using healing items/revives in battle. Mowed everyone but the first gym over. Is it legitimately impossible to make this game difficult beyond only using prevos/shitmon or something?
