Would anatomy structure make pokemon better?

The reason the majority of these nu-pokemon look like shit is because they have no anatomy or muscle structure when they obviously should.. .

look at this card, it looks much better than that dogshit stockart or model

if it looked like pic related it would be fine, but it has blob arms and legs.

the list goes on

Of course circular and cute ones wouldn't but the ones that should have anatomical structure don't.
Truth be told most new pokemon don't even look that bad, it's the stock art and shitty modeling that's causing this.
What are your sentiments on this?
