>>54053034Open world pokemon is not the way the franchise should continue towards. Gen 7-9 are much better than gen 6, which is easily the worst gen. Gen 7 is not that bad when replaying it. Gen 3 is the only generation that doesn't have glaring flaws, and is the best gen. Gen 2 is a close second, and it has the most soul. Gen 1 are the easiest games after 6. The 3D models used in gen 9 are great, and I wouldn't mind with them being reused as long as older pokemon are also fixed. Battle towers are boring. Fire starters are overrated, Charizard especially. Blaziken gets a free pass for some reason but it's a terrible design and is the catalyst of nu fursuit starter design. Speaking of the nu starters, despite that, most of them are fine. Inteleon is fine, but Sobble is the worst in its line. Cinderace is the worst of the nu starters. VGC is only fun when the generation is brand new. Zmoves were better than dynamax, megas, and tera. The only bad gimmick was dynamax.
