All those pokemon you encounter in the wild? They want to be caught. Trainers offer food, shelter, and training to become much more stronger than they could on their own. You get tasty food and berries and friends and cool scarfs instead of fighting off Zubats every night in the wild.
Especially if they can nab a good trainer instead of some abusive Rocket Grunt.
Just think of it this way, if an Electrode likes to explode for fun, being with a trainer who would continuously revive you allows the Electrode to explode much more than they would be able to in the wild.
Pokemon also like fighting for fun. If humans could shoot laser beams and flaming fists at one another with no actual harm done and infinite heals, we would fight for fun all the time. That's why pokemon are completely ok with being captured. They only don't like when they get caught by assholes.
