There is basically no effort put towards actually trying to make something with the foundation since they just don't do any research beyond that, even a second-hand account through research would give a more distinct and identifiably unique region than the theme park attraction Unova through Paldea have been, which is also probably why the regions for Europe have been based off entire countries.
