I don't think it's compelling enough to be a live thing, plus I'm very busy and can't guarantee a fixed time slot anyway. So I think it's just something I want to record and then upload. With my own live commentary during the battles.
Whether it goes on for several battles, or I lose the first battle, either way, just one 'challenge' until I lose (i.e. if I beat all 7 trainers, I'll do another, until I lose) for that day.
Tbh I don't think it'll be very compelling at all, but I just want to do it for my own enjoyment. I don't mind if I only get 3 views or 1 view or even 0 views in the whole world for each day's video.
So basically, YouTube? What is Twitch, is that live-only, or can I upload there too? Which place has more eyes (of Pokemon fans)?
Also I assume monetizing is pointless because you need tens of thousands of views per video every day to make anything more than pennies, right?
What is even the legality of doing this? I remember reading years ago on 4chan that Nintendo were very hawkish about people using their IP on social media. Instant takedown requests (swiftly granted), even legal threats against the individual? So can I even do this or will Nintendo come after me?
