When BDSP leaked I pirated it and installed a mod to remove the EXP share and affection bonuses. Even still it was such a downgrade from Platinum that I never managed to force myself to finish it. As for SV I never got past one gym when I pirated it, it just isn't a Pokemon game at all anymore.
Legends was surprisingly fun but the new spin on gameplay was fairly shallow and got old relatively fast. I got to the final area before dropping it, but if I ever get around to finishing it I'll probably buy it. The main series is dead and at the very least Game Freak can muster up some soul for projects they're more interested in. The sound design and art style of legends is leagues better than any other Pokemon game on Switch. The new Pokemon designs are so much better too.
