It does give you a shit rival, but I liked the bits of story they added (it's essentially a juiced up Yellow). I'd recommend getting a low-serial switch, installing CFW on it, then running Dio Vento's Enhanced Eevee hack to make it a little less braindead. It is a game designed to be played by 6 year olds and Gotard Zoomers.
