It's just going to be the placeholder ball instead of the Poke Ball going forward.

If anything, it will be a tell for Pokemon imported backwards from a later gen.

I think it looks fine on its own merits, but if they needed to make a placeholder for more obscure balls, it should look fancier and more mysterious. And just in concept, I think it's weird that all the Hisui balls turn into this, but I can still send out my Scizor in a Sport Ball from Soul Silver. So it's really inconsistent, too.

Fucking scummy. If they don't want the balls passed through breeding they could've just gone for passing on modern Quick and Heavy balls, or even just regular Pokéballs

I think what it represents is incredibly stupid but the ball itself looks really nice. Probably my favorite looking pokeball, and that's competing with the premier ball which I fucking love
