>>54078215>Why the fuck are you ranking the Gen 3 Pokemon by Gen 3's standards but the Gen 2 Pokemon by Gen 9's standards? If I ranked the Gen 2 Pokemon by Gen 9 standards, Blissey would be much lower. Hell, the only Pokemon in Great would be Lugia, Ho-oh, and Slowking, and Good would be just Scizor and Azumarill. I was being more fair to Gen 2 Pokemon by ranking their performance over the generations, because if I ranked them by Gen 2 standards, it'd be a lot worse for most of them.
Not to mention several of the weaker Pokemon in Gen 3 would be ranked much higher if I counted them in later gens. Exploud's Boomburst is a monstrosity bested only by the likes of Chi-Yu. Glalie has moody, Torkoal has Drought, Pelipper has Drizzle, Gardevoir has Trace + Mega, Aggron and Medicham have their megas, Walrein has perma-hail stall, Swellow has Boomburst, Dusclops has Eviolite, Crawdaunt can 2HKO everything with Sheer Force, Blaziken has Speed Boost, and so on. Very few of the Gen 3 Pokemon remained shitmons forever. Sableye ended up becoming really strong, but that cannot be said of any of the shitmons in Gen 2. The best they got was an evolution.
