At this point I don't even blame the nukes. Being so close minded to your culture makes it stagnant. Is like a reverse America scenario.
Instead of complaining about LGBT and Socialism, everybody there are thinking about keeping up appearances of people dead over 2 to 5 centuries ago. The culture did not evolved, or if it did, it's starting to become obsolete in this brave new world.
