Alolans were such a fresh idea and made sense thematically. But then they kept going. Galarians make less sense since there's no unifying theme and Galar isn't such a far off region with such a radically different climate like Alola. Hisuians I can forgive as they can be seen as "extant and extinct subspecies," and they seemed to course correct in Paldea since there's only 2 and they both "work." But then you've got regional evos which seem like a slippery slope and then the "rfakes" which I'm hoping are a one time deal...
The biggest cancer with regionals tho is the amount of fanmade ones that just completely don't get the concept. I'm so tired of seeing fanmade regionals that just completely alter the design or lore of a Pokemon just because. Regionals still have some relationship back to the original, both in their design and their backstory. Just making Quagsire into a Grass/Fire pumpkin man is not clever or even realistic, it's just fuckin retarded and I'm sick of seeing people do that kind of shit
