>>54095108>Shit storyThat's subjective and I whole heartedly disagree.
>The Pokemon designs are badAlso subjective, but even if it wasn't, what generation doesn't have its misses? The only reason Gen 5 has as many misses as it does is because it did more Pokemon than any other generation. In ratio, it's pretty equal with just about any other of the previous generations to poor designs.
>Or knockoffs of gen 1I already addressed this. Yes, there are plenty which are inspired, and some bordering on knockoffs(notably, Purrloin and Liepard.) Still, most went their own direction with the designs. Woobat and Zubat have being a blind bat in common, and that's literally it. Patrat and Rattata are fucking route 1 rodents.
Besides, sometimes knockoffs ARE better than the original. Oreos, Legos, Marvel comics(generally considered more popular, sorry DC,) and Angry Birds immediately come to mind.
>Unlimited use TMs make the singleplayer more casualI mean, fair enough. Not having to buy replacement TMs does change how the gameplay is structured.
>The online more tryhardHow did making TMs unlimited make online more tryhard? You could already buy replacement TMs in the original games.
>Dream world/radarThe dream world was just Gen 5's attempt at the Pokewalker. It had more features(and I adore the art,) but unfortunately was limited to online and the servers have shut down, so it was kind of a middling change at best. Gen 4 and 5 suffer with this whole thing of external programs.
As for the radar, dream radar wasn't a thing in this game.
>Pokemon evolved at too high of levelsWhile you can't ignore how this was because the Pokemon with such high level requirements were found very late game, and thusly were already close to evolution, I will agree that their placements in later games does completely hamper the experience for them, and so is trying to evolve them from an egg.
>The routes were badI found the variety in routes better than in previous games.
